eLearn Option
Blue Horizons is excited to offer PADI’s new eLearn option for Open Water certification. It is a great fit with our unique Flex-Schedule, enabling students to complete the course with ultimate-convenience. This added flexibility is provided while maintaining our commitment to one-on-one, customized service to all of our students.
How eLearn differs from the traditional scuba class:
- It is a new option for completing the academic portion of Open Water Certification
- Materials are online and interactive
- Self-paced
- Academics can be work wherever and whenever you have a computer and internet access
How this works
- Register for eLearn right now on line from this site.
- Begin the adventure through eLearn, completing the academics portion of certification
- One of our instructors will contact you to
- introduce Blue Horizons and answer any questions
- Arrange for you to receive your Recreational Dive Planner and log book
- discuss options for the remaining course sections,
- schedule a convenient time to select mask, fins and snorkel and gear bag
- Complete Pool sessions either through a Weekend Class, or Flex Schedule
- Decide on the best option for Certification Dives – Local Site, Escorted Trip, or Letter of Referral
Things to remember
Like all our Open Water courses, price includes mask, snorkel and fins, deluxe log book and gear bag which are yours to keep. Rental of scuba equipment and wetsuits for use during confined water sections is also included.

Pricing:
eLearning option $120.00 - additional, paid directly to PADI during on-line registration.
Balance of course fee will be payable at time of mask/snorkel/fin selection and first confined water session.
If you decide this is not the best option for your learning, please remember we will happily mail traditional course materials (textbook and dvd) to you, or you can pick them up in the store to study on your own, at no additional charge. |
