Learn the correct techniques from the beginning. Each specialty course teaches you additional skills needed for the specific activity as well as how to use complementary equipment. The courses build confidence by allowing the diver to learn by doing under the guidance of an instructor. After the completion of the course you will have confidence in your ability to safely participate and further advance your skills in the various specialty activities.

Advanced Open Water Course

The Blue Horizons PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course provides a more in-depth look at all aspects of diving and an introduction to a variety of specialty diving activities. Upon completion you will be a more confident and comfortable diver, ready for varied diving environments both locally and abroad. We recommend taking this course immediately following, or shortly after, completing your open water training dives.

Course Outline

The course includes a classroom orientation and open water instruction by one of Blue Horizons’ Master Scuba Diver Trainers. The open water sessions, comprised of five dives, may be conducted locally at Dutch Springs , or on our New Jersey dive charters for a taste of salt water and local adventure. Many divers take the opportunity to incorporate advanced training into one of our escorted dive trips.

Prerequisites

PADI Open Water Certification or the equivalent level of training from a recognized Scuba training agency.

Course Cost

$250.00 including open water certification dives. 

$76.50 PADI Advanced Water Manual and Dive Slates Crew Pack

$75 Full Gear Weekend Rental
