	More bottom time!! Every diver’s dream, and that’s what you get diving using enriched air instead of standard air. For example, if diving to 15 metres/50 feet on air, the no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on EANx36 it is almost tripled to 220 minutes of no decompression time. These kinds of increases are recognized at depths down to 130 feet. Diving Enriched Air (aka nitrox) has become extremely popular as divers have recognized the benefits. Most resorts and just about all liveaboards offer it, and equipment manufacturers have introduced equipment suited to seize on the advantages offered. This course also provides students with a deeper understanding of the effects of pressure, building on the material learned in Open Water certification. The Enriched Air Diver Specialty course counts toward the Master Scuba Diver certification.
	Prerequisites A current PADI Open Water Student (or qualifying certification from another organization) Minimum age: 15 years Course Overview The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty certification emphasizes the theoretical and operational considerations involved with enriched air diving. Included is familiarization of EAN dive tables, use of Oxygen sensors, and specific procedures for safely diving EAN. The course includes two open water dives under the guidance of a Blue Horizons professional. These can be made at Dutch Springs, on a Blue Horizons Jersey dive trip, or on one of our Escorted vacations. This course can begin during your open water course, your advanced course or as a stand alone specialty. Materials PADI Enriched Air Crew-Pak, - which includes an Enriched Air 32 percent Table, Enriched Air 36 percent Table and Equivalent Air Depth/Oxygen Exposure Table.
