Rebreather


Enhance your diving experience through the silence and almost unlimited air supply provided by rebreathers. Effortlessly approach your subject for that once in a lifetime picture, and extend your dive without the weight and bulk of additional tanks.

Prerequisites
  • PADI Advance Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization) Or PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) with proof of at least 10 logged dives beyond open water training dives.
  • PADI Enriched Air Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Be 15 years old
 
Course Overview


This course teaches the planning, organization and procedures specific to diving with semi-closed rebreathers, along with care and maintenance of the equipment. Once familiar with the equipment, three open water training dives will be made using the equipment, over a period of one or more days.

Rebreather certification counts towards one of the five Specialty certifications you need for your Master Scuba Diver certification.

  • Drager Atlantis/Dolphin rebreather owner’s manual

Cost - $450 Includes rebreather rental, fills and scrubber material.
