Rebreather Instructor
Course Overview There are two options for the course, depending on your familiarity with rebreathers. In both, the main focus will be teaching how to communicate the advantages of this exciting new technology. Prerequisites
Course OverviewThe focus of this one day course is to build upon your knowledge as a Rebreather diver, and hone your presentation skills specifically relating to rebreathers. Our Instructor trainers will provide strategies for teaching the unique skills needed to dive with a rebreather, including buoyancy control, dive planning, organization, and maintenance. At the completion of the course, you will be able to effectively teach the Rebreather specialty. Cost - $200 Option 2
The first segment of the course teaches the planning, organization and procedures specific to diving with semi-closed rebreathers, along with care and maintenance of the equipment. Once familiar with the equipment, three open water training dives will be made using the equipment, over a period of one or more days. This will complete the Rebreather Specialty certification. Taking it to the next level, skills will be honed to demonstration quality through at least 15 more rebreather dives. Instructor Trainers will teach the methods and strategies used to effectively introduce open circuit divers to rebreathers. Cost - $550 |
