The Blue Horizons PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course provides a more in-depth look at all aspects of diving and an introduction to a variety of specialty diving activities. Upon completion you will be a more confident and comfortable diver, ready for varied diving environments both locally and abroad. We recommend taking this course immediately following, or shortly after, completing your open water training dives.

Scuba Review


If you are a scuba diver, or a student diver that has been away  from the water for a while,  a PADI Scuba Review is an excellent way to re-familiarize yourself with the equipment, skills, and knowledge. With a one day refresher, you can be on your way to continuing your underwater adventures.

It is recommended that you take a Scuba Review prior to diving if you have been out of the water for more than six months or anytime you feel your skills are a little rusty.

Prerequisites
  • Hold a scuba certification or be enrolled in a scuba certification course
  • Minimum age: 10 years old

Course Overview
First, you'll review the safety information you learned during your initial training. Then, you head to the pool to practice the fundamental scuba skills under the tutelage of a Blue Horizons professional. The session usually lasts 2 – 3 hours. After your Scuba Review you'll be prepared to get back into diving or continue your dive education

Scuba Reviews are available 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the Month evenings In Philadelphia, 2nd and 4th Thrusdays in Glen Mills at Blue Horizons and during  our Intial certification courses. Please call to schedule. They are also available at the beginning of most Escorted dive trips.
