We are fortunate to live in one of the wreck diving capitols of the world. Wreck Valley is located right off the Jersey coast and boasts some of the most spectacular wrecks in the world. Blue Horizons leads New Jersey charters throughout the season.
Jersey dives are a great opportunity to explore, hunt, dig for artifacts, and take advanced or specialties classes. A Blue Horizons Master Scuba Instructor hosts every charter. It is also quite common to see many of our staff on the boats.
We have chartered the Venture III out of Belmar, NJ for the past ten years. Paul and Ruth are like members of the Blue Horizons family. Paul is a master at quickly finding, and “hooking into” the site, maximizing dive time. Ruth is a huge help in helping divers gear up, and makes all of us feel comfortable on the boat.
All experience levels are welcome on Blue Horizons charters, from Advanced Open Water certification to certified wreck junky. This is also a great place to take Advanced Open Water certification dives.
Required Equipment
A totally independent, redundant air supply (pony bottle or doubles) is required for Jersey dives. Ponies are available for rent or purchase from Blue Horizons.
